The bathtub, unlike the SPA, remains dry most of the time. However, both, when emptied, need to be cleaned with the same care. Pipe Cleaning
Maintenance should include regular cleaning of the piping. The bathtub should be filled with water at the bath temperature (less than 40ºC) until the jets are covered.
Put two teaspoons of neutral detergent and let it run for about 20 minutes. After that time, empty the water and fill it again with cold, clean water, allowing it to run for another 15 minutes, and empty it again. Ensure you contact a specialist for emergency repair.

Some products can yellow or stain the bathtub or SPA over time; others can damage the finish somehow. Here’s what to keep away from your hot tub:
- Abrasive degreasers that contain alcohol, ammonia, or that are derived from petroleum
- Blades and sharp objects under or inside the surface
- Products with caustic soda or ammonia
- Abrasive products, solvents, gasoline
- Enamels, enamel removers
- Bath oils, sunscreens, Pine-based disinfectants, Steel wool, Sprays.
